We have the honor of partnering with a beautiful safe home that provides girls with loving attention and education. This safe home is unique as it homes little and young girls, and when those girls become young women, the leaders of this home empowers those women to be self-reliant and able to become successful in the world. Learning about finances, forecasting, product development, costing and negotiating, these young girls are given the tools needed to reach for their dreams!
Illma was one of the girls who has experienced this success first hand.
While in the safe home, Illma was known for being quiet and shy. She never liked taking charge because she did not want deal with conflict. This was one of her biggest fears.
After being empowered out of the safe home, Illma was able to conquer this fear. She is now so excited about her management position at a company where she oversees the production and shipment of more than 1,500 units of items.
She can bask in the joy of being financially independent and experience the fulfillment that comes from helping others. Her success has even allowed her to care for her family! Illma’s family was in need for a sustainable way to survive. Instead of giving her family money, a common and hurtful practice, she bought some land and had her family farm it. This way her family would always have food and a business to thrive.
Illma can now see herself as a confident business woman. She was able to overcome her fear and found the power in strategic negotiation. We’re so proud of Illma, and all that she is doing, not just for herself but for her family too!
