Haitian Artisans
The Apparent ProjectThe average Haitian makes $400 a year. Haiti had this century's worst natural disaster, and is home to almost 500,000 orphans. The vast majority of Haiti's "orphans" have not been orphaned by parental deaths, or natural disasters, but by parents who gave them up simply because they could not feed them. Our work in Haiti is helping with the orphan crisis by providing the parents with a sustainable business by making "cereal box" beads. Now these parents are able to keep their children and raise them with dignity! Purchase a beautiful bracelet or necklace by them today! Your purchase helps parents keep their children!

Haiti Tin Art
|
Made from used oil drums in Croix de Bouquet, Haiti. Tin art was developed in Haiti decades ago when Haitians where trying to mark graves with the resources on hand. Now the artisans labor in the sun to create something beautiful from something discarded as trash. This is a piece of Haitian culture that is bettering the lives of families today and reminding us that God created us to arise and shine!
