As Ryan (my husband) and I began planning for the Trades of Hope National Tour in 2015, we couldn't have been more excited to travel for 9 months (it's always been a dream of ours - and to do it for such a life changing cause is even more exciting!), but we weren't sure how we were going to travel and also work and live normally on the road. Would we fly each place, stay in a RV, a trailer....how does this kind of life logistically work?
We thought about buying an airstream for a while (I begged and begged for that vintagey awesomeness) but after a few airstream visits and a few bumps on Ryan's head (6'2 has its downsides), we decided that a 5th wheel would be the smarter of the two!
We finally found an older and awesome 5th wheel that we loved....and it is also one we could personally re-do and decorate to our style (with Trades of Hope flair, of course!). We wanted to make this temporary place a home for us both and see if we could decorate on our budget, using thrifted finds and some TOH product! We will be posting updates along the way as we tear out floors, re-paint walls, and make this 5th wheel into our home....and we are making sure to include Trades of Hope product in our designs. Who would have ever thought! We will be moving into our tiny home this December and are scheduled to blast off from Florida in February 2015 to come MEET YOU! Eeek.....I couldn't be more excited and thankful to have the most life changing job in the whole world.
Here are some "before" photos below. In a few weeks, the Hope-Mobile will be complete with more "Trades of Hope-y" colors and products! Stay tuned for pics.
